Hi Jordan,

We have a show here called “This Hour Has 22 Minutes”, which is similar to “The Daily Show” in the U.S. but preceeded it by a decade, and one one episode they were filming in a tour bus that was driving by the parlimant buildings in Ottawa, and the Prime Minister (Jean Chretien at the time) was walking home from work (yeah, seriously). The 22 minutes crew had the bus stop, and they invited the PM on board, at which point he took over guiding the tour!

I live in Northern Ireland – and am also lucky in many similar ways to you.

NB – I visited Canada a few years ago (Toronto, Montreal, Niagara etc) and it is a beautiful country to visit.

But the tour guides must get sick of having to say everything twice (once in French) !

Well I think corruption is present in every country’s government, but it’s certainly less of a problem here than in many other parts of the world.

You’re very fortunate that you have good leaders in ur government. Here, ppl cry corruption corruption but accept it as a way of life.
