Any time I come back from any place in which I took pictures, once of the first things I do it sort through them and set aside the “good” ones. The good ones get edited, and the rest get forgotten.
But once in a while I find myself browsing through those forgotten photos. Usually this act confirms to me that I was right to forget them and I even find myself deleting a few here and there that I know for certain will never amount to anything.

What the heck was I thinking passing this one over! This is one of those photos. I absolutely love everything about it, the sunset is perfect, the colours are outstanding, the semi-symmetry of the mountains, the rippled reflections in the water. Yes, I have to admit, I really like this photo and I hope you do too.
