The Grinch: That’s one thing I hate! All the noise, noise, noise, noise!
Yeah we get it. We all hate noise in our images. So we smear and we smooth and we blur until be have a wonderful collection of noise free mud. Personally, I have never understood how this is preferable to a bit of noise, and so here I suggest a new approach to noise reduction:
Leave it alone. Better still, turn it into film style “grain”. Includes versions for both Photoshop CS3 and Paint Shop Pro X2.
