The town of Lahaina is a full-fledged tourist trap. Shop after shop sells overpriced trinkets to travellers who have let their guard down while caught up in the magic of Hawaii. Every restaurant we tried was overpriced and served mediocre food.
But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t visit. Lahaina, like most of Hawaii, is stunningly beautiful and very, very hard to leave.
