Even though the weather is hot in Vancouver now, it seems I just have Hawaii on the mind. There is something about that sweet, tropical air that helps to make the heat bearable.
But if you’re on the island of Maui and you do need to escape the heat for a while, there is no better place to do it that at the top of Mt. Haleakala. It may not look like it, but up here it is cold and extremely windy.
It sure is beautiful though.
