This stunning work of art is a statue of Francois De Laval in Quebec City.
Francois De Laval was the first Roman Catholic bishop of Quebec and is considered to be the Father of the Canadian Church. A quick perusal of his Wikipedia entry reveals that he did lots of things that are probably considered “offensive” by the infantile morons that make up our present day ruling class.
So I’d enjoy it while you can, because we’ll probably be ripping it down soon. That’s what we do now when a few people get their feelings hurt.
